Terms and Conditions

1. Our services

We provide private transfers (airports, hotels, cruise ports and other destinations in the Dominican Republic) and tours. Transfers are private: the vehicle is for your group only, unless stated otherwise.

2. Bookings and confirmation

  • Your booking is confirmed when you receive our confirmation by email, invoice or message. A quote request is not a confirmed booking until you accept the price we send you.
  • You are responsible for providing correct details: names, date and time, number of passengers, luggage, exact pickup location and, for airport transfers, your flight number. If something is wrong, let us know as soon as possible.
  • To change a booking (date, time, place or passengers), write to us. Changes depend on availability and may change the price.

3. Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and depend on the vehicle, route, number of passengers and extras you choose. The total price is shown before you confirm.
  • You can pay with the methods available when booking (for example, cash to the driver on the day of service, or online when enabled). Online payments are processed by a secure payment provider.
  • If you need an invoice with tax details, request it at info@dominicanviptransfers.com.

4. Pickup, punctuality and flights

  • The meeting point and time are shown in your confirmation. Please be ready at the agreed time.
  • For airport arrivals we use your flight number to follow its schedule. If your flight is delayed, early or cancelled, let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to adjust your pickup.
  • If you do not show up at the meeting point and we cannot reach you, the service is considered a no-show and our Cancellation Policy applies.

5. Passengers, luggage and conduct

  • Each vehicle has a maximum number of passengers and suitcases. If you travel with bulky items (surfboards, strollers, golf bags) or with small children who need a car seat, tell us when booking.
  • For safety, all passengers must wear seat belts. Smoking and carrying illegal substances are not allowed. The driver may refuse to continue the trip if someone’s behaviour puts safety at risk.
  • You are responsible for your belongings. If you leave something in the vehicle, contact us and we will help you recover it.

6. Tours

  • Tours include what is described for each tour. Some activities (for example, the Damajagua waterfalls or water activities) require adequate physical condition; tell us about any relevant health condition and always follow the guides’ instructions.
  • Itineraries may change due to weather, sea conditions, decisions of the authorities or safety. If a tour is cancelled for these reasons, we will offer you another date or a refund.

7. Liability and force majeure

We provide our services with professional drivers and well-maintained vehicles. We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as hurricanes and storms, road closures, orders from the authorities, strikes, third-party accidents or changes by airlines and cruise lines. In those cases we will work with you on an alternative or apply our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

8. Data protection and cookies

We process your data according to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

9. Complaints

If something did not go as expected, email info@dominicanviptransfers.com or WhatsApp +1 (829) 916-3276 and we will look for a solution. As a consumer you also have the rights granted by Dominican Law 358-05 on the Protection of Consumer Rights and may contact Pro Consumidor.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Puerto Plata, without prejudice to the rights the law grants to consumers.
