2. What data we collect
- Contact details: name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number.
- Service details: date and time, pickup and drop-off location (hotel, airport or cruise port), number of passengers, flight details, selected vehicle or tour, extras and any comments you send us.
- Payment details: amount, payment method and payment status. Online payments are processed by the payment provider (for example, PayPal); we do not store your card numbers.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and a record of your acceptance of our policies when booking (date, time and IP).
- Conversations: messages you send us through the chat assistant, WhatsApp or email.
We do not ask for sensitive data (health, religion, etc.). If you choose to tell us about a special need (for example, reduced mobility or a child seat), we use it only to provide the service.
3. Why we use your data and on what basis

4. Who we share your data with
- Our team and drivers, only what is needed to provide the service (name, phone, place and time).
- Technology providers that work for us: web hosting, email, our booking management system, Google (Analytics and Ads), Meta (WhatsApp) and the payment provider when you pay online.
- Authorities, when required by law.
Some of these providers may process data outside the Dominican Republic (for example, in the United States). In those cases we work with providers that apply appropriate security measures.
5. How long we keep it
We keep booking data for as long as needed to provide the service and, afterwards, for the period required by Dominican tax and accounting rules. Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted once they are no longer needed. Analytics data is kept according to Google’s settings (usually up to 14 months).
6. Your rights
Under Law 172-13 you may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation (erasure) and objection, and withdraw your consent. Email us at info@dominicanviptransfers.com with your name and booking reference if you have one; we will reply within the time limits set by law. If you live in the European Union or another country with its own data protection laws, you may also exercise the rights granted by your local law.
7. Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and we apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, so we will never ask you for passwords or full card details by WhatsApp or email.
8. Minors
Our services must be booked by people aged 18 or over. Data about minors travelling (for example, their age to arrange seating) is provided and authorised by the adult making the booking.

10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its update date.
